Gaia’s Venner (Friends of Gaia) is an independent support association for women and children staying at Fonden Gaia’s services. The association was founded by three former residents of Gaia who wanted to give something back and make a difference for other women and children going through a difficult time. Today, the support association is run by volunteers.

Your support goes directly towards activities that bring joy and a sense of safety to women and children at Gaia Women’s Shelters in Aarhus and Oustruplund, as well as Gaia Family House.

• Celebrating holidays and special occasions with cosy activities and festive events that make Christmas, Fastelavn, Easter, Halloween and other special days memorable
• Small joys in everyday life, such as an ice cream when we go on outings
• Activities and equipment that create joy and a sense of community, such as a trampoline for the children at Oustruplund
