Making it easier to find help
At Fonden Gaia, we continuously work to make our services as accessible as possible. We want to support women and children with different needs and backgrounds – including when language can be a barrier to finding information and seeking help.
Part of this work is making essential information about our services available in several languages.
We are therefore pleased to announce that Fonden Gaia’s website is now available in Danish, English and Russian.
You can easily change the language by clicking the flag in the top right-hand corner of the website.
We also want to emphasise that Fonden Gaia strongly condemns Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Our decision to offer information in Russian is solely about accessibility. Russian is understood by many people across Eastern Europe and can therefore help ensure that more women and children can find information about available help and support.
More languages to come
We are also working on translating the website into Polish, Arabic and Spanish. This is a comprehensive process, as many pages need to be translated manually and then reviewed and quality-assured together with native speakers.
More content in these languages will therefore be added gradually.
For us, language accessibility is an important part of ensuring that more women and children can find information, understand their options and access the support they need.
